267, A. BREAST ORNAMENT IN FORM OF THE PRENOMEN OF KING (see 267, P)

A breast ornament of gold inlaid in cloisonné fashion in the form of the winged Kheper beetle
in high relief. Supporting in its forelegs the solar disc and in its hinder legs the plural
determination and Neb sign: a device forming the prenomen <> of Tut-ankh-Amen.

The gold under surface of the ornament is chased and has a horizontal loop for suspension,
which was probably by means of a cord with tassels.
