FLORAL COLLARS

POSITION.
Tied round neck (see photo)
Two floral collars (wreaths) in a very bad state of preservation.
(1) The uppermost is composed of petals & small flowers of the blue lotus
(
Nymphaea
coerulea) arranged alternately with leaves of (?) & bound on strips of papyrus pith.
(2) The lower collar is composed of leaves of (?) of which only the midribs remain (?fleshy
part of leaves intentionally removed?)
Flowers of the cornflower was also found with these collars.
Length of collars about 0.50 cm.
