256, P. Gold Collar of Horus

POSITION: Thorax: lower centre, over sternum wings extending to arm-pits; tail reaching below umbilicus. Forms III Group upon thorax.

DIMENSIONS: <> 10 24 10 7 21 38 51 73

DESCRIPTION: A collar of Horus cut out of sheet gold, with details finely chased. Has attached to tips of wings by means of gold (beaten) wire a Macnht (Mankhet) or Tag. On feathers of right leg traces of an hieratic docket. <> (looking like a number).
