Double-leaf amulet

POSITION: Neck; right side attached by linen thread; third group (i.e. iii, iii bis and jjj).

DIMENSIONS: L. 13.7, Max. W. 4.0 cents.

DESCRIPTION: Double-leaf amulet, of heavy sheet gold, with mid-rib embossed. Has two eyelet fastenings; was threaded upon linen thread with amulets iii bis, jjj, forming a (third) group of amulets attached to the neck of the King within the wrappings (see diagram).
