Dependent from the hands and pectoral Ba-(bird): -

3 Two longitudinal bands running from the centre of thorax down to and under the toes; made up of seventeen gold plaques (34 in all) bearing texts -(right) Speech of Nût, (left) Speech of Geb - the hieroglyphs inlaid with cut carnelian (quartz), felspar, lapis lazuli and carnelian coloured glass, and in some cases turquoise coloured glass. Details engraved upon the various materials. (See Note attached) Four transverse bands of gold plaques (varying in number) similarly inlaid with texts, opening with: R. side 1.
