POSITION:
Thighs: above knees.
DIMENSIONS:
Max. W. 36.0; Max. H. 25.0 cents; W. of collar, 11 cents (at
bottom).
DESCRIPTION:
Collarette with hawk-head shoulder pieces, made up of ten
sections or plaques, engraved on back and inlaid on front surface
in the fashion of cloisonné-work - (see details attached).
On the outer margins of the plaques are eyelets for threading the
sections together by means of bead borders. This specimen has
also eyelets at the back for similar purpose.
Attached by means of gold (beaten) wire to this collar a Mcnht -
for details see note attached.
REMARKS:
No. (1) and (2) were doubled up and bent to fit the thighs -
without apparent care - hence they have suffered considerably not
to mention disintegration
