POSITION: Upon head; insignia on thighs (Nos. R and S).

DIMENSIONS: Fillet: long axis 19.9 cents.; transverse axis 17.5 cents.; (interior measurement). W. of fillet 2.15 cents. Back appendages (1) L. 31.5 cents.; Max. W. 1.5 cents. (2) L. 27.6 "; " " " " Side appendages L. 14.5 cents.; Max. W. 2.2 cents.

DESCRIPTION: A gold fillet encircling the head, probably intended to be over a wig. Decorated: contiguous circles (carnelian with gold boss centres) having a top and bottom border of geometric pattern, inlaid with turquoise blue and lapis blue glass - see note attached. At the back of the fillet a symbolical bow in the form of a solar-disc (chalcedony) between two papyrus flowers (malachite). Attached to the lower part of disc two ribbon-like appendages, having similar decoration as fillet. They are broader at the bottom ends than
