These vary from 10 - 14.2 in length and 1.1 - 1.4 in width.

Down centre of each side of blade a rounded ridge .6 wide, projecting almost .1
Width of blade at bottom .6: sides there thicken to same measurement.
Metal end that pierced shaft was diamond shaped, and on each edge there were 6 nicks filed
out to give it a better hold.
These were inserted into stick about 10.5 long, .5 in diam. at upper end, .7 at lower; which in
turn fitted into the reed.
No trace of binding on the wood.
Treatment Washed with ammonia and water.
