Part of a whip, of wood covered with thick sheet gold. Thick end broken: narrow end hollow inside to receive a spike of some king. At either end a band of very fine inlay in red, blue & green glass. On inner sides of these bands a ring of plain gold .2 wide. These inlaid bands were slipped over stick independently, & not worked on it. Hole through stick .3 in diam.
