3. Description
Reed tray, built up by successive rings of bundles of reed fibre, joined by a weave of reed
strip. Partitions similar, with an extra vertical binding at all the right angle joints.
Extra ring fastened to bottom as stand.
At one side, just below rim, a length, about 21 long, of fibre cord, .2 in diam. This probably
to attach a lid.
The tray noted as such in No. 26 was probably the lid to this tray.
Treatment
Removed adherent disintegrated leather with fingers. Brushed with dry brush.
