Driving gauntlet (?) of linen.
Outside of coarse linen; lined with very fine linen.
This a left hand glove ? 3 fingers in one stall, first in the other; thumb free.
Upper part of glove ended in a narrow band, & was open along dotted lines. Lining cloth
turned over lower rim, and sewn, .7 wide. Similar at sides, .4. Just above this turn over a loop
of cloth 3 x 1.3 was sewn: this for the lowest binding cord to pass through.
Three binding cords on each side. These were sewn to under side of glove a distance of about
2.5, and were about 27 long
